Why walk?

Walking is good for relaxing us but at the same time it improves our creativity and attention.  This is the ideal to state to practise a language.

In the last few years there have been numerous studies and articles about the benefits of walking.  Here are a few ....

Walking is obviously good for you, but the benefits of learning while walking (or doing exercise) are scientific!  It helps us think.  Spending too much time sitting can be very unhealthy as this news article points out.  In fact, walking meetings are becoming more and more popular.

The idea of walking and learning is not new, Aristotle found it important.

One of the most famous walkers who have written about walking is Henry David Thoreau.  You can download his book 'Walking' free from Project Gutenberg.
