The walks will take place on the last Friday and Saturday of each month from 9.30am to approximately 11.00am.
It costs 5 euros per person per walk.
The walks are aimed at B1-B2 level English speakers however all levels are welcome if they are willing to talk and listen in English.
The walk leader, Cat, will be available throughout the walk to help with conversation and any language questions.
We will meet at the Brunel Centre, Calle Miguel Servet, Huesca
We will walk about 6km from the Brunel Centre in the countryside around Huesca. Walkers need an average level of fitness but if you are unsure, ask your doctor
All new walkers are required to fill in a form when they come to their first walk. All new walkers will also receive a 'Hints and tips' sheet for useful language for talking and walking.
The plan for each walk is as follows:
9.30 - Meet at the Brunel Centre, spend 15 minutes getting to know other walkers and introduction to the talking topics of the walk (you will be given a Topic sheet).
9.45 - We start walking. We will finish between 10.45 and 11.00am depending on the walk and the walkers.
After the walk the walk leader will add a list of new vocabulary which was used on the walk to the blog on the month page (for example; January walks for those walks in January) and any photos taken.
For each walk you will need to bring:
Comfortable walking shoes
Appropriate clothes for the weather
Water and a snack
Umbrella or walking poles if you want
Friendly and good language learner attitude!*
