About & contact

Hello!

My name is Cat and I am a qualified English teacher and native English speaker.  I work at the Brunel Centre in Huesca.
I am originally from Yorkshire in England but have lived in Huesca for 5 years.  I have been teaching English for more than 10 years and love it!  I also love being outside and I love walking.

I was a healthy walk leader in England for 3 years, I have walked and hiked in England, Scotland, Wales, Spain, India, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia! I walked the Camino de Santiago in 2001 and have been a member of Pena Guara since 2010.

I believe that getting out of the classroom and walking is the ideal way to practise your English.  Walking makes us feel more relaxed which means that you will speak easier and improve your fluency.   Of course, walking is also very good for us.  We all need to spend more time being active and less time sitting on chairs.  Here are some reasons why I think walking is the ideal way to practise your English.

Walking and talking 'kills two birds with the same stone' (Idiom)- you improve your English and your health!

If you have any questions about Walk the Talk come to the next walk or  email me at:

I look forward to seeing you!

Cat
